Vacay Trip #1: Marseille Once again

 

Yes I'm back in Marseille once again! I usually don't go back to a place for travel unless I have lots of shopping to do or I have friends. Marseille is an exception. I had a few specific objectives in mind
1) I was exhausted after my 6 weeks in Montpellier and stay in a place where I am semi-familiar with so I can relax
2) I wanted to try their infamous Cagole beers since I couldn't find them last time
3) I wanted to go to Aix-en-Province which is just on the outskirts

So first thing's first, after I checked in to a hotel (for once!) I head to my favorite district, Le Panier. I always love the bohemian/hipster ambiance here. I wasn't able to eat lunch before I left Montpellier so I needed some food and..a drink of Cagole of course. Check!

And otherwise, I didn't do much. I happened to step into a very cool street art-type art gallery and wandered around with a gelato out to the ports... and that's it! The rest of the time I happily spent resting and getting ready for the rest of my trip in my hotel. Best rest I've had in weeks. Check!

Tried both of them back at the hotel. I definitely recommend the one on the left! A must have in Marseille if you're a beer lover
