Sorry again for the late updates. People think that going going to language school in Montpellier is vacation but in fact, it's like a full time job. I don't know how other students have time to go party all night since I'm busy studying away.
Everyday I have class from 9-3:30pm then I work on my French vocabulary and homework or watch a movie at the theater for extra French listening comprehension. Then I get home around 7:30pm and then I have dinner with my host family until close to 10pm..which leaves me very little time to do anything else!
Nevertheless, my time here has been nothing but fantastic. South of France has such a rich culture and history to offer. It may not be in a bustling metropolitan city like Paris or Lyon but it certainly has a lot to offer.
I took a weekend trip with my host parents to Sommière, a quaint village by the river banks. We then headed to Bridget's parents house where we were greeted warmly in their Southern style home.
My host mother's parent's house is to be continued!
