Virgin Napa Trip

So I am ashamed to say that... I've never been to Napa for wine tasting. Not sure how this happened but I would say I was too poor to go wine tasting when I turned 21 and then all during my 20s I was barely ever back in the US and never had time to make the trip up there. So I suppose I've finally come to a point in my life in which I  "matured" enough to enjoy wine tasting (as opposed to binding of alcohol with $20 all you can drink at karaoke bars in Japan!)....maybe?

I'm so grateful for my friend who organized and drove us all; in total we went to 3 wineries and all had their distinct tastes I loved it. It's a bit far out there from SF but I can definitely see the hype of wine lovers flocking there - the view, wine, and weather are all quintessentially California. Let's see how long it will take me to go to the Opus One winery...it's on my bucket list on when (and if ever) I get rich enough!

First quick stop to quench our thirst

Quick lunch break!

I'm not a sausage or meat person but this locally sourced, house-made sausages were so good! Great choice considering all the drinking we did after!
Round 2: Silver Oak

Round 3 for some bubblies!

Couldn't have asked for a more perfect day for a Napa Trip!
