Happy Belated 4th of July!

Oh my, got boggled down again and have stopped my updates! You may wonder what I've been busy with when school's out and I'm not working but there's actually quite a lot on my list. It's like what you've neglected for the past 10 years come tumbling down and hits you in the face.. yes that's how long I've never had a long break back in SF and it's come to haunt me!

But enough of the excuses, just wanted to wish every a belated happy Fourth of July! I know there's no other country in the world that celebrates its independence with bad quality artery clogging food but eh, that's how America runs.

I'm never good at cooking, much less a barbecue so I'm always in charge of eating and drinking while the rest of my family slaves away. Props to my brother who did most of the prepping and grilling!

Back at Home

It's been about 2 weeks since I've been back home in California. I completely died after my trip; I was deathly sick from an infection, about to get a cold, and exhausted from traveling around multiple countries in various climates in a short period of time. Thankfully my parents have been taking good care of me and while I'm not fully recovered yet, I'm getting a lot of rest and sleep.

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to relax as much as I hoped since I have a standardized exam which I'm required to take for work and have been fretting about.. (long story, will explain in another post hopefully!) so once that's out of the way tomorrow I'll have more time to edit pictures and do some writing about my trip. In the mean time I'm really enjoying myself being back home.. because how much better can it be when your hometown is San Francisco?

Few more pictures from home

I'm well back in Geneva and enjoying the real break now that finals are over. I just came back from Paris and have been sick in bed and I'll update those pictures soon. For now I'm feeling a bit homesick so I'm posting a few more of my favorite pics from back home!

Family Dinner

After gone for 3 months, it always feel nice to sit down as a family for an enjoyable dinner and some booze.
My brother takes cooking as quite a serious hobby so he's back from Davis for the weekend to impress us with his newest mastered dish.

Brother and mum set-up as I....watch lol.

Seared beef sushi.... yum!  :)
