Albeit the fact that my stay in Bangkok was a bunch of ups and downs with many things happening in between, I was blessed with my hosts of whom I stayed with. My last host was with Anne. It was by coincidence that I stumbled by her listing as I was
frantically looking for another place to stay after my first stay
contract was over. She was kind to spare me one of her extra apartments despite less than 24 hour notice and even offered to take me out to dinner at a neighborhood diner.
We turned out to be close in age and both love to travel and meet new people so we quickly engaged in a long conversation. She even ended up showing me around her work place at the hospital. We've already made plans to go to some holy sights around Southeastern Thailand next year so I'm looking forward to our reunion next year!

I forgot what this dish was called...but it's mix of fried egg, chili shrimp, and vegetables over rice with lime juice atop. It's such a simple yet refreshing dish |
